Catalyst Arts Members Show 2020
16 April – 9 May 2019
Lived experience is determined by architecture; it confronts, directs, organises behaviour and movement. The body enlivens architecture, exceeds measurability and geometry, and provides a relational understanding of space. Artistic practice and process operates in rooms, on rooftops, in the streets and between the gaps. Our encounters activate belonging and integration, art proliferates on the edge of precarious times.
But in this time of crisis where does art exist?
The Catalyst Arts Members Show 2020 invites contributions of work from members to consider the role of the body activating limitations of buildings, inhabiting the surface of space and drawing attention to a sense of belonging within the fabric of the cityscape.
Catalyst Arts members are invited to show a piece of work in any medium ie. performance, installation, video, sculpture, painting, etc.
This is a members show, to take part applicants must be a Tier 1 or Tier 2 member of Catalyst Arts Patreon. You can become a member through our Patreon page at www.patreon.com/catalystarts. Being a member is a great way to support Catalyst Arts and have access to exclusive member opportunities throughout the year.
