Catalyst Arts is delighted to announce four seasonal online residency opportunities that will take place throughout 2021. We are now welcoming applications to the Spring and Summer editions. Each residency will last three weeks, and the selected artists will receive £500.
Catalyst Arts is committed to supporting and nurturing artistic practices. We recognise the need to do better in diversifying our programme and amplifying the voices of those in marginalised groups. The online residencies are open to artists who self-identify as being underrepresented in the arts, for example Black and POC artists, disabled artists, artists from lower socio-economic backgrounds and artists from the traveller community.
To apply you do not need to be a member of Catalyst Arts, and, due to the remote nature of this opportunity, we welcome applications from artists nationally and internationally.
Each online residency will be held on a website provided by Catalyst Arts. We are open to a broad range of formats including, but not limited to:
Digital exhibitions and installations
Text-based work such as short stories
Moving image
Tutorials
Performances
Archives
