Catalyst is now Closed.

All workshops, exhibitions, events and performances will cease

as of Thursday 19 March 2020 for the foreseeable future.

As of yesterday evening, the current board of Catalyst Arts held a meeting and came to the decision to close with immediate effect from today 19/03/2020.

As you all know this is an ever evolving situation with new guidance issued on a daily basis. We have made the decision to temporarily close our doors for the health and wellbeing of all our audiences, staff, and artists, and to play our part in stopping the spread of the virus. As a team we will continue to do our best to keep Catalyst an active digital presence online and through social media over the coming weeks. In this precarious time, supporting other arts spaces as well as the hardworking artists affected by the closure is our main priority.

Our opening day for Leoni Hill’s Graduate Award Show: Shake of the Tin is now cancelled and the exhibition postponed until further notice.

We will be contacting the relevant parties involved in all other upcoming open calls, deadlines, exhibitions and events for the future.

Our shutter may be closed (and covered in disinfectant) but our hearts are still open. Stay safe and keep healthy both in body and in mind through this difficult time.
