Two Weeks In Another Town

5th April – 1st May 2001

This event brought together a selection of eight artists from Ireland and Scotland.
Offering an eclectic mix of contemporary visual art that wishes to draw on established links between these two countries. Using the common ground of travel, journey and the insights lost or gained through our perception of certain elements of a place that has become overlooked or forgotten by its inhabitants. To gain a fresh insight of these tow continually migrating cultures through a strangers perspective. In effect becoming the visionary of how to see a place that has in some way become used to itself or forgotten.

The artists were Sean Hillen, Margaret Barron, Makiko Nakamura, Tracey Murray, Gair Dunlop, Belinda Guidi, Sarah Felton, and Shauna Mc Mullan.
