Savage Goods

A two person exhibition featuring work by Belfast based artists Owen Joe Donaghy and Dani Pico Peris.

From working titles DueI/Duet,’Savage Gods’ will feature new works by Owen-Joe Donaghy and Dani Pico-Peris.

In Duel/Duet both the artists and their works are being challenged into working in close proximity to each other. While each body of work remains separate, the emphasis is on their co-existence and even more importantly on their dependency to exhibit them together in order for the works to succeed.

Owen-Joe Donaghy is from Monaghan. He completed his B.A. in Fine Art at the University of Ulster in 1991. Having lived in Barcelona for two years Donaghy returned to Belfast in 1993 and set up studio at the Edenderry Industrial Estate.

Dani Pico-Peris is from Barcelona. Pico-Perrs completed his M.A. in Fine Art at the UniversIty of Ulster, Belfast in 1993. He has recently returned to Belfast from a work placement at the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin.
