FIX starts 2019 with a special programme for emerging artists. Three recent graduates were selected from an open call to perform during the FIX19 opening night at Culture Night Ireland:
Brennagh Meehan (Belfast, UK): Stages
Brennagh Meehan (b.1996) is a visual artist, a recent graduate from Belfast School of Art that studied Fine Art, Sculpture. A multidisciplinary artist that uses performance, sculpture, poetry and sound within her current creative practise.

Lee Hamill (Co. Meath, Ireland): Solutions for the Border
Lee Hamill’s performance ‘Solutions for the Border’ explores the 1984 proposal Thatcher received to build a wall along the Irish Border and ghettoise west Belfast. Lee graduated from NCAD (Dublin) in 2019.
Aoife O'Connor (Belfast, UK): Sleep On it
Aoife O'Connor is a visual artist working in a range of medias including sculpture, drawing and performance. Her work tackles everyday dilemmas with a healthy amount of humour and childlike curiosity. She is a recent graduate from Ulster University having studied Fine Art Sculpture.
